YMCA Arts Camp
Summer Arts Camp is a combination of performing and visual arts. Campers will engage in fun activities in a safe environment where they can make friends and explore their interests.
Camps at the Y share one thing: they’re about discovery. YMCA Arts Campers will make friends, learn, and grow through activities like arts, crafts, games, and summer adventures. Whether you choose one week or all summer, YMCA Arts Camp fits your schedule and provides fun, enriching activities for your child!
About Our Arts Day Camp Program
Summer Arts camp at the Y is a combination of performing and visual arts with a varying weekly theme, for example, Disney or Harry Potter. Campers will engage in fun activities, like staging a play, that will stimulate the creative nature of each participant.
- For children ages 6–12 years
- 1:18 child to instructor ratio
- Nutritious snacks provided
- Dedicated, well-trained camp counselors
- Financial assistance is available for those who qualify
Our Curriculum
Our school age arts camp program offers fun weekly themes that align with Ohio’s Common Core K–12 state standards.
The curriculum includes activities in the following areas:
- Arts & humanities
- Character development
- Large motor & fitness
- Literacy
- Science and Math
- STEM
- Nutrition
- Service-Learning Projects
Scholarships
The YMCA of Greater Cleveland offers needs-based scholarships to help make Summer Day Camp accessible for families. Scholarship awards may cover up to 95% of camp fees for those who qualify and are determined using several factors, including annual household income, the number of adults in the home, and the number of dependents. Families interested in receiving support can learn more and apply through our Financial Assistance program.
Camp Rates
9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Weekly Rates:
Member: $182
Non-Member: $209
7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Weekly Rates:
Member: $190
Non-Member: $220
7 a.m. - 6 p.m. hours at French Creek and Geauga camps only.
There is a $5 registration fee per child. Each week of camp requires a $25 deposit, which is applied towards tuition. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions, below, for more information.
